You have Russia and North Korea in the list as threats. Problem is Trump has buddied up with Russia and North Korea and turned his back on his allies so of course they need to boost their defence spending as they no longer see Trump as friend. -

Yeah, that track was a bog. Was there a race to suit at Ellerslie on Saturday? Thought that would have been more her go. Nerula - ain't that the truth! The same goes for athletes. Many have the talent to be the best, but it's their unwillingness to go to another level that stops them. It was my unwillingness to stop eating mince and cheese pies that stopped me from riding 😆 -

Chris Harwood has been one of his trusty track riders for years, and his job is to pilot Via Sistina among others. He estimates star sprinter Joliestar has the longest stride of any horse in the current stable at approximately 8.6 metres, Via Sistina coming in at about 8.2 metres. Anything over eight, Harwood says, and it’s an ingredient to be elite on the track. -
Agree entirely ...but the connections clearly and understandably feel the need/wish to recoup some of their losses and/or add to her broodmare value by picking up some decent $$ preferably in black type races. As Scoobs just posted, hindsight is a wonderful thing and, IMHO, the combination of Heavy going and a big weight did her in yesterday. But it could also happen again on a better track with a lighter weight! Ther big question is: does she want to be a racehorse? -

Yes she has a value...but it is way under the 850K paid for her previously.I would just like to see her go out in some style...she had been going very well in training and just the track tripped her up.Hindsight is a great thing I bet if he had it over again she would not have run yesterday. -

Tivaci was at Waikato Stud last season for $8000 stud fee, but unsure where he is now. In regards to Wolverine, does she need to continue to perform on the track to have value? Her value is in the broodmare realm is it not, having already performed at a high level and being from a good family. -

Read the facts 1.12.44 first 1200m Waverley 2nd race then races eight 1.13.59. Riverton 1200m 1.18.60 then 1.17.55 then 1.16,71. Surely you could work that out before passing judgement.
