well the Dunns outfit are the Leading stable, so therefore come under scrutiny like the leaders in any Sport competition would if losing matches. If you're talking ALLstars ? , yes their results for a decade were 'Through the Roof' high for a decade, but they retired the MAIN brand exactly 4 years ago now. Nat near retired at that stage. When Amazing Dream capped off that Best in the World decade for them in that NYE Auckland Cup (with another great stable Quinella too) . A great race. since then Hayden Cullen , and Olivia battled hard for a while and got some nice results, before leaving to do their own thing as well. BlairO and Nathan Purdon (the Main current Allstars combo) are just doing Fairly well,?? , Mark sort of semi-retired going to the North Island and that sort of thing , but they still won some features with Oscar B lately But you're right , they (Allstars) horses are back to the field a length or so, since Hayden left ? and 2 lengths since Nat left . and the Allstars have ONLY RUN 2nd in about 20 Feature Races over the past 2 seasons ? (many with DSD) The 2nds including last 3 Nz Cups , when 4 years ago with Natalie Rass and Mark in full swing they would of WON at least half of those 20 feature races . The sad AKUTA and MILLWOOD NIKE injuries also savaged their winning ways hugely as well. -
I don't think Chitty interrogates stats in this way. Chitty wants a horse to win from 8th in the running in a 7 horse field.

We haven't done very well have we?

CCB - Crash, So the Chute tomorrow will be as hard as concrete, I don't think so. In fact it wont be! On your second point, because of the new houses you certainly cant see the majority of the chute from the grandstand, but they do have a large screen to watch if sitting in the bleachers. It's a fact that you cant watch the Great Northern over the hill either. Call it progress, or whatever you like, but at least the Telegraph will be run tomorrow where it has always been run and I'll bet you a $1000 that the Chute wont be like concrete.

What your missing is that when RP came out of the trail Merlin had half a length on him & had the momentum. Once RP wound up he won going away. If you watch them after the post Merlin had clearly piqued on his run while RP still wanted to go. If the race had been another 50m RP would have won by 2 or 3 lengths.

You might try from right at the start when the tapes released Rakman 👍🎉 . put 4 lengths on him then straight away from the get-go lol 😆. and ran him a merry dance thereafter. Zac drove Merlin well in my opinion , and zoomed up to challenge turning for home ok, but was definitely outstayed as the Janitor stated . A bit like he was in the Nz Cup when out-stayed placing 4th. Don't panic about margins Rakman. we used to say a Nose is as good as 20 lengths as far as Victory goes in ANY race. Your name goes in the book as WINNER. Pays the same prizemoney and divvie' on the tote too no matter what the margin 🏆😎 and you get the photo on your wall . actually it's a bit of a shame Merlin stuck on so well as has covered up Carter to ruin the photo a bit ? should of dropped back another half a length I reckon so we could see Carter in the framed picture ? 😋 (don't worry, I'm sure Big Dean has pictures of Merlin on his wall , and might get some more soon 😂) -
2 horses racing at Te Aroha tomorrow; Aurora Storm, out of Magrugada for Scooby Tale Of The Gypsy, out of Gypsy Snitz for Zak Hussai
