Trump and USA win again , it just keeps happening , Nippon steel . Nippon steel was going to buy US Steel but after talking to Trump they decided on this , On Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump said Nippon Steel's $14.9 billion bid for U.S. Steel would take the form of an investment instead of a purchase. Trump said the U.S. will impose 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminium imports on top of existing duties, and that he will announce the new metals tariffs on Monday. So better for Japan to manufacture in the USA to avoid tariffs meaning Trump gets a huge investment in steel and a boost to exports . HE KEEPS WINNING . -

Update post the Waikato Guineas meeting. Tuxedo is likely out of contention as he heads to the Derby, as will Bourbon Proof and Hinekaha. The Derby now has only 5 horses rated 70 or higher after the Guineas, with Tuxedo on 77 and Willydoit on 75. As an aside, Jimmy Choux went straight from Te Rapa to the Derby on a similar 4 week gap but he went into the Derby on a rating of 94. Is Prosegur the next slot horse? She was scratched from Te Rapa and also now withdrawn from the Oaks. The Aussie raider, Evaporate, resumed in a Group 2 at Caulfield and ran an unlucky 3rd. The NZTR site shows him with a rating of 83 but his Aussie rating appears to be 94. Can anyone confirm that? If so, he looks by far the strongest contender announced so far. -
