Meant CC . Not so much anymore but definitely in the 90s and before 4yo's of both sexes had a pretty good record . Now with lots of imports and the 3yos not as strong and not carrying on , or the very good ones being more WFA types . The loss of Riff Rocket was a loss , could have been a genuine chance .

A top filly by Frankel. Four from five. https://www.racingpost.com/profile/horse/5951632/bedtime-story/form I see in most of her races there were only 5 starters. As for the seasons the data suggests otherwise and on average our springs are better than the UK's. -
Pete, my comments were about 4yo staying mares having a crack at the Caulfield Cup, ie over the Oaks distance not the (shorter) Cox Plate.

The easiest way to do understand Trump is that he is first and foremost a solid stars and stripes American. An isolationist in many respects who believes in putting the USA first. Hence his border policies and reluctance to join or fund other peoples wars. Hence his trade tariff policies. Now that resonates with a lot of the blue and white collar workers especially in the rust belt states who have seen manufacturing decimated by cheap Chinese imports. It resonates with the millions of families who have lost young family members to wars in other countries. Many would say that Trump has a point - why fight wars in Europe when the countries that are most affected are not paying their contribution in terms of weapons, money and personnel. -
What a fucked up country America has become and in many ways I' think the tide is turning back in Trumps direction, Harris don't seem too strong on policy, but surely there must be others in Trumps gang,(should I use that word) who are capable of doing the job, the problem with Don is trying to sift out the shit from the truth. For all that he is good entertainment, I don't think and never have thought Harris is President material, my initial thought was she would win purely to keep Trump out but now I'm not so sure.

Charming. Read and weep sunshine. Latest NY Times poll (a leftie paper) has Trump surging in 3 battleground States and has now regained the overal lead in the combined battleground states average. Harris is only 2.2% ahead in the popular vote - at least half of where Hilary was at the same time going into the election she lost to Trump. These are facts not emotive opinion. Also the undecided vote as defined by all the polling agencies has dropped below 5% for ALL battleground states. -

Just for you Insider and worth a read , and perhaps you might help you have a better understanding of Israels position , it's essentially life or death with zero support from the enemy for a two state solution , a solution that would betray their beliefs . Extracts , Israel’s Complete and Utter Destruction The covenant opens with a message that precisely encapsulates Hamas’s master plan. Quoting Hassan al-Banna, the Egyptian founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is a constituent member (Article 2), the document proclaims, “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” After some general explanatory language about Hamas’s religious foundation and noble intentions, the covenant comes to the Islamic Resistance Movement’s raison d’être: the slaughter of Jews. “The Day of Judgement will not come about,” it proclaims, “until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.” Article 11 spells out why this annihilation of Jews is required. Palestine is described as an “Islamic Waqf”—an endowment predicated on Muslim religious, education, or charitable principles and therefore inviolate to any other peoples or religions. Accordingly, the territory that now encompasses Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank is consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. Article 12 links the exclusive Muslim right to the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River with the religious obligation incumbent upon all Muslims to wage a war of religious purification. “Nothing in nationalism is more significant or deeper than in the case when an enemy should tread Moslem land. Resisting and quelling the enemy becomes the individual duty of every Moslem , male or female” -
