Slightly off topic, but for those who enjoy a Sports Bet, I think the Renegades offer decent value at $6.50 in the BBL (in from $7.50 yesterday) A lot of firepower in the batting lineup and solid enough to cover things in the bowling. You get to follow your money for a few weeks too!

I think you are right and that Paul has a big influence behind the scenes.   They are the complete package with the quality of horsemanship and their communication.  Not to mention the quality and humility of the people including brother Lance - who is an ONZM by the way. 

Prizes: I'm putting up $200 and Phil (Alf Riston) has kindly offered to put up $100, so we'll have: $200 to the winner; and $100 to the runner-up Prizes in the form of a single bet (win, place or each way) with 50% of any collect going to the winner and the other 50% to the Huntington's Association. In the event of ties, the tie will be split by the entrant who picked the most Gallops winners (it is a racing site after all), then by the entrant who picked the most Football winners, then the most US sports winners.  If these don't split any ties we'll split the prizes in usual tie fashion.

This comp is not for the faint hearted and will take a bit of work to compile your selections, but die hard sports fans should enjoy it.  You have to pick the winners of the various races and sporting events (listed below) that will take place across 2025.  1 point for each correct selection - most points wins. Please note this rule in particular - you can't pick the same horse, person or team more than once.  For examples, you can't pick Scottie Scheffler to win all four of the golf majors - you have to pick a different player in each event, you can't pick Liverpool to win the quadruple,  you can't pick Via Sistina to win more than one of the big WFA races. Hey Liz, Just in case you want/need to in future... when you're out and about on your phone on the site, if you click the 3 vertical dots up the top right it will bring up another "menu". If you tick the "Desktop site"  then it will show up as if you're on your computer at home albeit the fonts a bit smaller which you'll probably need to make bigger to make it easier to read..
