And who exactly is going to report them.. if RCafe comments are anything to go by, Trackside is watched by all on mute 😄
Let them have their relaxed interviews I say. Start muzzling participants and they won't want to get in front of a camera/mic..
Goodness gracious me , we are going to turn our participants into AI bots , most didn't finish college .
To be honest if you have worked in the racing and breeding industry and not learnt 50 different swear words and at least 100 ways to incorporate them into a sentence you haven't been in it very long .
The 2 worst potty mouths I ever met in my life belonged to racing women .
Dont agree.... its part of the aftermath and real answers from real people are not edited, good on them makes for interesting watching..and adds to the atmosphere.
Last week George Simon was having a 'laugh' with Popps after a series of trainer interviews that belonged more to a pub conversation than an Entain trained solution to the problem of 'off piste' chats
One trainer "shit, buggered, we cant whip or kick him (presumably they've tried to do such) out on the track" and another trainer "it was pissing down"
While Simon was laughing he seemed incredulous that the media training ENTAIN have reportedly paid for wrt trainers wasn't working.
It's all about professionalism with the new Entain regime and 'pub chat' has no place on Trackside imho.
Yes the show is a big improvement from before so glad Guerin has gone, was too overpowering and stifled debate ....hope it continues to grow over time too.
Have just watched Sundays “Weigh In” and have to say I was very impressed with the whole show. All presenters have settled in well (helped that they are seated now and more at ease), Guys new haircut looks great and overall a very knowledgeable and interesting show. The section on Donavan Mansour was good too with some humour thrown in of Guy learning to ride. Great work team, looking forward to next weeks episode.
Great show this, almost matching Sky's GET ON. They can take the piss as well as any Ocker and How Bizarre is a welcome return.
And there's no better ratings analyst than Steph Hunt who has a sharp as a tack form brain.
Strangely one gets the impression TAB bookies are allowed to punt?
Shirley not??
Great concept, lets hope this is the beginning of a great race that will match the history of those great races in the galloping world. Its uniquely kiwi.
What a triumph to win the very first one. I think this race will capture the publics attention in a similar way to the Everest in Oz.
Big ups to the sponsors.
Interestingly NZTR have made a very minor change to their 'trial gear'
To 'race Day gear'
Confused?
Previously inaccurately reporting trial gear as that worn in trials when it was purely race day gear
Why even bother?
Deeply confusing to all the punting petes out there who'll need a map
Meant CC . Not so much anymore but definitely in the 90s and before 4yo's of both sexes had a pretty good record .
Now with lots of imports and the 3yos not as strong and not carrying on , or the very good ones being more WFA types .
The loss of Riff Rocket was a loss , could have been a genuine chance .
