I think Hadron Collider knocked off a bit 100m out but Rakero Rocket deserved win. Both horses will win more races. -
Thanks Mike. I eventually googled it and found it. I ran through all of the Sky channels except the +1 channels, and that's where it was. No more greyhounds!!! -

You say that, and while it may be true is Sydney and/or Melbourne, nobody in Auckland gives a damn about Alexandra Park and where it sits. It's sad, but the operation has largely been brought undone by those in charge. Yes, a decline in horse racing overall has contributed, but a large part of the ATC decline is due to those in charge of the ATC.

Greg Sugars should only get half his fee as he didn't have to move at all 🤣 The close-up of him immediately after crossing the line looked more like he was sitting on a park bench than just having raced a 3200 metre Group 1. Amazing.

Weak effort from Bet N Win, he was beaten at the 500m, galloping in straight. The 3200m finds them out!!! Great win Just Believe, jogged it. Jess Tubbs an astute trainer. I backed Mystic Max, parked out a fair way so I didn't expect him to figure in the finish. Next year? -
What channel is that on today? They keep saying head across to Trackside Premier but l must have missed where it is. Did have to duck out briefly earlier in the day.

Race 6 Bob's back Another Ricky D shocker start - when is he going to decide when to go rather than the drivers being in control - even Greg mentioned about some of the drivers getting an edge at the start.

I backed Nazareth, not because of the Unhinged video because I haven't seen it. I didn't think he was particularly unlucky. Was driven rather strangely up the straight, as if the driver was trying to make the run look unlucky. He had plenty of room to get into the clear, although l don't think he had much more to offer.

You're not forced to scratch from a race if you become ineligible for it, so if nominations for a maiden close when a dog is still a maiden but the dog wins in the time between noms closing and the race, a dog who has won a race can run in a maiden. It's the same for other grades; if you enter c2 races on Wednesday and Friday and win on Wednesday you can still run in the Friday c2 race as a c3 dog. A dog doing this is said to be "running out nominations". In theory, a dog can win four c0s (not including c0d/maiden stayers races; an open class dog over <600m is still a maiden over distance trips and so can run in c0d). A dog could win a maiden heat of a series on one day, win another heat of a different series within two or three days (or maybe longer if there are public holidays which change nomination dates/times), then win both finals the next week. -
Race 5 - couldn't see anything bad or ugly. Thought the Master outdrove the boy hehe Good to see All You Need Is Me racing more like her breeding. Is Bod Butt's luck changing - let's hope so

Race 4 - Go the The Big B - unlucky in last years Auckland Cup - typical great Blair drive Wagstar - torched again, surely the owners are getting the stitch with these drives - Ohoka Conner - Telfers nothing changes can't get around with breaking Grimson/Hart - could win with a Hereford bull - genius
