This is replicated by all of the younger ones, a day at the races is a long winded boring affair hence they don’t go For years I have been spouting start at 1.30 and finish at 5 with 10 races 20 or minutes apart Sydney and MLB have the young ones bands/discos after the last for 5 hours and the younger ones pour in at 2.30 and after, punt on 4 or 5 races then have their shindig, seems to work with big crowds of younger folk Change nothing, nothing changes

Yes but it is close even without the Electoral College. Basically a tie on the overall popular vote. One could argue the USA is lucky to have the Electoral College otherwise you'd have morallly and financially bankrupt States running the whole country. -
Record levels so someone is doing ok.Plenty of aveage Americans are in the sharemarket one way or the other. It will be a close race no doubt, primarily because of the ridiculous Electoral College situation that was for a bygone era. Until someone has the balls to change that, and that’s unlikely as it is in the US Constitution, the current circus will continue.

Is that a snapshot from today? Are you commenting on the indices themselves or the marginal percentage increases? Although sharemarket indices are only one indicator of the how an economy is going. Would care to list the others? Regardless of the strength of the USA economy it doesn't seem to be helping Harris. Another sign that she isn't making sufficient headway with the voters to secure the Presidency. -
And the economy is tanking too apparently…..

If that is true it is pretty poor. Some of our horse people can be a bit...rough around the edges but we are allowed to expect some decent information in an interview. When I am watching pre-race the comments from Emily Bosson (I think) about which horse looks good, can be valuable. Other than that I do not pay much attention to what the trainers might say. Surely we can work out that, for example, someone like Rogerson starting a horse on a cups trail, in a 1400m at Te Rapa four months before the Auckland Cup, that animal is going to be ridden quietly, shall we say, no matter what BS might come out of the trainer's mouth. -

And then there was an 'interview' before this years Auckland Cup Rodley "So what are his chances" Trainer "a bloke asked me out the back I said "he's BLACK and he's old, he said "I'd rather be BLACK" WTAF?? Why would ANYONE bring racism into an interview? As a direct result of this ENTAIN decided to fund media training for idiot stake holders who remain cluless to this day. -
My daughters boyfriend 22yrs old & his mates are the target. They all have Betcha accounts, they are glued to their phones pre race watching odds changes, they have never heard of Lethal or care. To them he’s boring, mono toned & a turn off as he tips $2 shots consistently. They also don’t like the CD commentator as his picks are shit & he comes across a bit arrogant. The TAB guy who comes on with updates & market movers they find interesting & they love the hot horse concept. These young fellas have all started punting thanks to Betcha, they already think racings boring with the long gap between NZ races on a Sat, the last thing they want is 10 mins build up to a race with presenters who are barely awake themselves.
