A couple for Warwick Farm today. R1 Our filly Reasonable second run back from long spell $7.50 Hopeful more than confident as a tough field. Stablemate Silver Wedding, Polymnia and Dominetta will be hard to beat. R2 Another Maher runner Deconstruction good value at $11….strong win last start. Spirit of Wealth obvious danger. R3 Ahuriri….interesting that it is going straight up to 2100m ( from 1400m) with JMac on…intent there $3.50 Hawkesbury tomorrow.. R1 Blacklist $21/4. Stable have been waiting to get over further (by Redwood) and wetter the better. Form pretty ordinary but has ability from all accounts ( beat Melody Again in recent trial ) so worth following.

TIMARU BEST BET - R10, FRANNI CACCINI, back to 2200m will help here, only concern is the draw. This course is well known for needing to be a on pace runner and a draw inside 7. Howver, happy to stay with. especially with drying track. EACH WAY -R3, FULL MOON FEVER, Consistent type who will be on pace, sitting in behind Ice-Cold Gold (known speedster), nice chance on this track from there. WATCH: R2 DONNA CHAIRA, Good second first up, 10 draws are not good here, but from NZ best stable. OTHERS: R1 LAVENDER HOPE, 3rd in list race last start, should win here on that. R3 RED LABEL, dam won 7, led at last trial, one draw and worth gold coin. R4 GAME DUKE, flew home on Sunday, draw of 4 here, good chance at 10-1. R7 THE BUFFER, loves it here, two runs in and ready to go, drying track and 1600m suits.

1400m is the furtherest for our two year olds and late-ish in the season. So you admit you were wrong then??? -
This is replicated by all of the younger ones, a day at the races is a long winded boring affair hence they don’t go For years I have been spouting start at 1.30 and finish at 5 with 10 races 20 or minutes apart Sydney and MLB have the young ones bands/discos after the last for 5 hours and the younger ones pour in at 2.30 and after, punt on 4 or 5 races then have their shindig, seems to work with big crowds of younger folk Change nothing, nothing changes

Yes but it is close even without the Electoral College. Basically a tie on the overall popular vote. One could argue the USA is lucky to have the Electoral College otherwise you'd have morallly and financially bankrupt States running the whole country. -
Record levels so someone is doing ok.Plenty of aveage Americans are in the sharemarket one way or the other. It will be a close race no doubt, primarily because of the ridiculous Electoral College situation that was for a bygone era. Until someone has the balls to change that, and that’s unlikely as it is in the US Constitution, the current circus will continue.

Is that a snapshot from today? Are you commenting on the indices themselves or the marginal percentage increases? Although sharemarket indices are only one indicator of the how an economy is going. Would care to list the others? Regardless of the strength of the USA economy it doesn't seem to be helping Harris. Another sign that she isn't making sufficient headway with the voters to secure the Presidency. -
And the economy is tanking too apparently…..

We do have one stakes race for 2yos at 1600m very late in the season but a 2000m 2yo race is unheard. of I suspect unthinkable here due to the wet tracks. -

If that is true it is pretty poor. Some of our horse people can be a bit...rough around the edges but we are allowed to expect some decent information in an interview. When I am watching pre-race the comments from Emily Bosson (I think) about which horse looks good, can be valuable. Other than that I do not pay much attention to what the trainers might say. Surely we can work out that, for example, someone like Rogerson starting a horse on a cups trail, in a 1400m at Te Rapa four months before the Auckland Cup, that animal is going to be ridden quietly, shall we say, no matter what BS might come out of the trainer's mouth. -
