Market Place what a great win . I thought he was going to get beaten today PS like many did . Great decision letting Blair go so happy for the connections . Just Believe what a champion . Australia had a great day today 😀

Vessem should be scratched , so 2 on the second row could work out well . Fingers crossed for Friday

Swayzee what can you say other than he is a champion and no excuses for the rest . I think DSD proved he is the best horse in NZ as well by running second with a gap to the others . Merlin had his chance and maybe he just can't stay at this stage . Alta Meteor will keep , hard to sit parked out in a race like the cup . I felt sorry for Tim Williams today , he was going to win an earlier race but the horse galloped and Ohoka Connor paced roughly , i hope that gets sorted as he is a serious horse

that was a big big win by Marketplace. the outside draw is a real killer , but he burned out to cook the Captain Sampson from the North , and then driver Ferguson was smart enough to take a breather by letting Rubira take over. A winning move ?. Ferguson drove a tip top race and he and Marketplace deserved that win. Not easy to beat Allstars on these big days . Swayzee had to dig deep to beat Allstars DSD . Duchess Megxit couldn't hold em out , (Treacherous Baby got her late on) and the gold old Oscar B (3rd today) had his big Dominion trot win last year. But 'Just Believe' a wee bit good for him today .. that bloke just keeps dishing it out . is like gallopers that took on Winx or something , trying to beat him. just an impossible Task -
SO WE ARE NOW HEARING FROM ALLSORTS REGARDING HARM IN CARE BY INDIVIDUALS CONTRACTED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE TIME,,,,,SO WHERE DOES THIS STOP? THE TAXPAYER HAS JUST ENDURED A TERM UNDER THE ADERN HIPKINS REGIME NOW THEY ARE BEING ASKED TO REPAIR WRONGS OF THE PAST WITH MANY OF THE CLAIMANTS TYING UP TAXPAYER DOLLARS FOR DECADES,THE GOVERNMENT HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR MANY ATROCITIES APPLIED BY PEOPLE SIMILAR TO MIKE BAKER FOLLOWING GUIDELINES OF SCIENCE....SCIENCE IS NEVER SETTLED AND THOSE INVOLVED ARE ALWAYS LEARNING....IF BAKER IS TYPICAL OF OUR SCIENTISTS..... WE ARE IN THE 40S...1840s 🤣

The Australian horses just to strong for the kiwis, no excuses for the beaten brigade, both won quite easy to be fair.

Might to to riccarton tomorrow, to be fair I'll be balking at the 20$ entry and the 10$ race book, hard enough to get them to the races at the best of times,

Craig has is moments but Sam is a step ahead, give me personality over grunt anyday and on course seeing Sam before the preceedings is a shot in the arm, Sam Collett in the same Category.....WHAT I CANT UNDERSTAND IS HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO PROMOTE RACING WHEN THE AVERAGE JOCKEY IS HARD TO ACCESS EMOTIONALLY?... MOST ARE ROBOTS, MAKE THE CONNECTION AND THE INDUSTRY CAN GROW SUPPORT....Grubb challenged me on my opinion years ago , its just an educated opinion(🙄) and is more instructive as who they are.... if you cannot handle constructive criticism why are you in such a difficult high profile game...he is bloody good but can be better

Death and Taxes.....no surprise.... the difference is who imposes them

Certainly. That's why l made the point "Based on gate take only" because we don't know the betting spend, the alcohol spend, the food spend etc, or the profit margins on most of those.
