I presume you are meaning the "Leo" period. Love him or hate him he was certainly colourful. "Bring Back Leo"

Certainly was - but if I owned him I wouldn't have been impressed with the drive. 1st up and a gut buster - yes I know he appeared to do it easy but I don't see the need to win by so many lengths. Driver also killed Sagwitch midweek by not having a plan B going into the race Drive of the night for me Bob Butt on Brian Omeara's horse. 1st up for a while - lovely run through to secure the 1-1 and pick up the fav

No worse than Teaz. But why can't you all filter the um, ar, ....whatever? Most of you talk like that. Anyway I've just spent an enjoyable night on the piss with Sweens and Lethal in Havelock North. -

why havnt our Government created its own Big Pharma to look after its population. , That's easy the cost of developing drug /vaccine/medications is far beyond what one small country could afford, it takes years of science then trials then approvals to prove efficacy and that's why its simply not possible to be done . All approved medications treatments are patented to allow the developer time to recoup the huge costs involved in developing/proving a product . quote ,The lifetime of the patent varies between countries and also between drugs. Since the company applies for a patent long before the clinical trial to assess a drug's safety and efficacy has commenced, the effective patent period after the drug has finally received approval is often around seven to twelve years. After the patent expires generic meds will appear at around 5/20% of the original cost , it's not all bad I'm currently paying for one that was originally around $14k US a shot I'm at around 6% of that and at this early stage it seems to be working, 5 to go . -
slipper island has cost many on here a fortune matey, always looks like its cruising and doesnt get there, the smart money is to send it South ..if it wins up here it may snow in Fiji

is the impressive Malt time a live chance with Ace on?He goes ok but forget the big league... Mustang is a good a chance as many here in a weakish lineup...rider engagement key

Shaun Hendy Crunched our Covid numbers and was out by a ton, the unvaxxed somehoe escaped his modelling...but he is being funded by Gatess like most

Yeah how about it , all I can say is that they appear very happy with him , for myself I was stoked with his trial last week , just there for the run but from what I watched his action was as clean as I have seen since his great run as a 3yo , he's a big strong horse now having filled his frame a bit but I honestly think he will be stronger again as a 6yo . I will be happy if he's finishing strong and pulls up well , long summer ahead .

The first Group One of three weeks ago wasn’t a G1 by any standards and Mustang Valley is no chance on the good track. (Sorry H Dream)

allblacks are the better side but they are showing the opposition to much respect, reminds me of yulestars failed nz cup beaten by Peter Jones after flying the tapes taking a sit instead of backing ability, if you are on attack with a man in the bin in defence you are mad to take 3 points, and they proved this when it was their turn.....they are not that good but know how to win...it showed with the useless AUSTRALIANS, WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM BUT OUR LEADERSHIP IS FAILING, WE NEED TO BE PRIVY TO THE DECISION MAKING ..the funny thing is if you look at results decades ago a win is a win....but now its almost a loss 🙄

i normally like a few Rums but have dropped a few Fathers old tawny Liz but it doesnt change who i am, i say i wouldnt put Adern,Hipkins or Robertson out if they were on fire but if push came to shove i would...im to soft even though they all need life sentences.......i have spent hours talking to elderly and hours trying to make their lives easier and feel priviledged to have known them....my form probably represents an erratic trotter but always hope for the right result

More rain overnight and Newmarket has gone Heavy this morning. Quite a few withdrawals including TROIA and ECSTATIC from the Rockfel and both LEAD ARTIST and DANCING GEMINI from the Joel. Supposed to be a fine day tomorrow.

I left R6 alone - thought December was probably the play given it was running G2/G3 last campaign a few lengths behind Crocetti/Luberon/Quintessa, but too many kicking off their campaigns I just turned the page. R4 I happened to have two black bookers there. Slipper Island - not Opies greatest ride last start... Back for redemption tomorrow. And Hokitika Bell who happened to be in the same race last start. Had no room and burst through late thought it looked nicely placed 1400m and similar class. For reference: Race 6 THE PENINSULAR BEACHFRONT RESORT MOOLOOLABA PREMIER at HAWKE'S BAY RI on 7 SEP 2024 | LOVERACING.NZ As fate would have it, Lily suspended for her ride in this one for crowding the finish line. How about R3? 🧐
