Well I was happy because I backed Tyler to win the Jockey Challenge and he ended up sharing the win . Funny thing was I thought to myself well Fawkner Park will win and Beclare won't be in the first 3 great judge I am lol . But what a great win by Belclare
Fair enough. That's your opinion. I quite like his/her posts which generally seem to be soundly based, unlike some. Be better in my view to keep the focus on debating racing issues and sharing information though, rather than playing the man instead of the ball.
This was supposed to be a thread about the Te Rapa track. As Chris said, the personal attacks are getting a bit boring.
I loved Reg too just an awesome commentator . Charlie Hunter was a legend for sure . When I look back its amazing what these guys have achieved in Harness Racing . Its a shame now going to Alex Park its a ghost town with apartments everywhere . With the poor numbers of horses in the North as well its so sad what this venue has turned into
All entrants to the Melbourne Cup must undergo testing before being allowed to run, examinations which became more stringent from 2021 onwards after a series of runners broke down or died in the race with O'Brien's runner Anthony Van Dyck being euthanised after breaking down in the 2020 Melbourne Cup.
The great Reg Clapp calling the race. Fabulous stuff. loved Reg. John winning the Trotters Grand Final too that night Charlie 🏆. Driving for the injured Charlie Hunter.
Great patient drive by John in this video . Got back a bit , but what a well timed run to win it well . Charlie Hunter was back in the bike to Win the Miracle Mile in Sydney with Quinney not long after this as well for another famous win .
Wow ! Look at the amount of cars parked out the back , and in the in-field during video. Could get good crowd in those days.
I for one encourage debate...but stirring for the sake of it is CM MO and he is just here for that reason he has nobody to talk to..other than his own created many identities where he comes from.
Jan Breughel decision opinion....

Fair enough that he's upset, stodge, but do you think trainers should allow the opinions of their own (employed/contracted) vets to be considered independent?
I've just reread the NZTR communication and bugger me they have said they are going inspect the track early Friday afternoon , why leave it so late FFS , inspection should be this avo , it's a H10 just xfer , it's not rocket science .
Plus if they run that's 2 meetings 6 days apart on H10 surfaces , good way to stuff up the track for the next couple of months .
Hard to get that interested in International Rugby League and much prefer NRL.
In regard to Rugby Union, NZ Derby Super Rugby games still get good ratings on TV, so people are continuing to watch those.
