Form anal E Sis 4 da Final Singapore Sling:The deserved top seed.Won by 16 lengths in Round 7.Rumoured to be ex lead singer at Raffles Bar in 2001,Joint favorite with Stoyd. Richie : Top scorer round 5, and brilliant form in rounds 6,7, Question mark over his position in the running from inside draw Kloppite : The WFA star. Needs further vet check at 7am tomorrow to be cleared to start. Pete Lane : His Round 1 score of just 8 was the subject of a Stewards' enquiry, Which is ongoing, Lowest score since is 23. Stoyd : Northern Hemisphere Group One performer with great literacy skills, Poor performance in Round 5. Jack : His Unexplained Round 4 score , of just 2 points was the talking point amongst RaceCafe posters for weeks, He vies for outright favoritism with some Shri Lanken cricket bookies, Ohakaman ; Repeat regular top points scorer. Top pick to win by some bookies, but there's that niggling doubt about his Round 4 score where he beat just one home, Top 4 with reservations, Insider : Wily intelligent campaigner with more experience than most, here, but had a dreadful score of just 2 points in Round 1, No excuses offered by the stable partner who is believed to want a tattoo of Frankel for Xmas.! Surely there are plenty of premier tracks available to pick up the slack . This particular pigeon was always going to come back and kick them in the arse . , bigtime . I said it earlier if there was any doubt then xfer Otaki and Trentham around , simple solve , but far to complex for the powers that be . I wonder what Entain will make of all this indecision and possible lost meeting . Oh ! that's right it's bad luck .

The problem is, there is no where else to go. This year this meeting was originally scheduled for Hastings, but we all know what happened there. Last year it was a Trentham so I guess that is another reason it was shoved in. Quite simply with the current fronts coming through, one after the other Trentham shouldn’t be racing this often.

I don't think any of the AWTs have ever come to the rescue of a grass track meeting. It appears that part of the equation has proven to be fallacious. -

In Australia if they had a provincial meeting that was going to be really heavy and a track down the road wasn't nearly as bad they would sometimes move the meeting. You do wonder about transferring meetings to Trentham at this time of year when most horses are looking for better going. -
Wasn't Awapuni synthetic track supposed to come into play at times like this? Although, with the reluctance of some trainers to race on the synthetic there would probably be a heaps of scratching......

Yes, fully agree.......make a decision today......Horses, staff, trainers and owners in limbo in regards to travelling.

7.3mm of rain is expected overnight, finishing by 9:00am. For my threepence worth, it will be heavy, but so what. Some will love it and others wont. There will be plenty of scratchings, but the track should be a safe as it possibly could be, unless there is a surface water problem, which I seriously doubt. The only thing I can say with certainly, is that they will plough it up, and with all the scheduled meetings to come, that isn't what one was hoping for. I am wondering if there isn't an ulterior motive with how this is being handled.

And what if it isn't tough shit for participants , again , FFS get professional , if they think there is any doubt then move them , TODAY . FFs try and show some empathy for the owners , just this once . It beggars belief , I really didn't think they could make it any more difficult .
