Why is he sitting back waiting? Probably a new Te Akau preferential treatment that they can be last to load up/mount. Anyone remember Ashburton getting abandoned a few years ago and DE insisted they all come back Monday for his horse to have a lead up run to the Guineas? Too much say from that camp. -

You are so right . It makes you wonder once the cup carnival is over where are they going to place Merlin and Mach Shard ? Northern Harness racing is so poor and most of the highest assessed horses are running at Cambridge tomorrow night . If Merlin and Mach Shard win a couple more they will be handicapped out of it or have a gut buster every so often for piss poor stake money
