I just got home and watched the first 4 races replays just now. Holy Cow ! . that George Elliot was roaring home , head down , really having a Dig up the home straight. All you needed was another 10m and you had that. Great pick ! Mine , well I had 50 on Miki Bennett with JD driving in the 4th. Got all excited when it swept to the lead 100m out but it galloped AGAIN 🙄. just like Tuesday. rotten thing. should of just stuck with my best bet on Tuesday of 'Borris' . would of backed him if Miki Bennett had of won just now too , so that's doubley rotten .lol. Time for a beer (or 6) to re-organise lol. Arcee Phoenix a place maybe. he went pretty good in the Dominion . -

Race 5 - Wow what an exciting race - 1st, 2nd and Magician huge - Telfers horse got around but must have been 100m last in the end -
Agree with the first part. Its great to see a good card of racing! With the second part, it must be said that there are at least 45 North Island runners nom'd for Saturday. I'm sure if the South reciprocated with 45 runners to support the north carnivals they would look just as healthy. -

Race 4 - Telfer had 3 runners and only 2 of them galloped - better than usual for them - as forecast

Didn't notice what she did . Yes HP didn't show a lot of fight today . I just backed Todd Mitchell to win the drivers challenge at Cambridge tonight has some good drives -

I have a share in a filly out of Flourishing, a good Pencarrow family. Blake Shinn rode her in a jumpout at TA yesterday and said she felt like a classic filly which is in keeping with the family, she will be spelled and perhaps make an autumn raceday. Shinn was here as he is suspended in Victoria, I suspect its a recon for the coming Karaka Million series. -

George Eliet so unlucky but can't blame driver. Tu Tangata disappointing and an improved driving effort - well it could never have been worse than Cup Day. Next race is too tough for me so off for a beer

So he is wrong for standing up for what he believes is right...but Te Pati Maori is ok to stir things up for their 10% of the population...how is your reasoning fair...the country should be the same for all we are ALL New Zealanders after all...but thats just the way I feel personally and each to their own. -
