One of my favourite international race meetings of the year! Love Sha Tin! The atmosphere on course is electric!
Time to get into the Xmas spirit and spread some Xmas cheer.
HK Cup, HK mile, HK sprint.
Pick the winner of each race or closet to and win $1,000 NZD.
First person to post the winner of each race or closest to wins $1,000 NZD.
Fields will be out on Thursday after the Happy Valley meeting on Wednesday.
Good luck!
You’re still well ahead of the game Chris, you have had a superb run …. gutsy bets but you land them, mostly, so good luck and let’s hope we empty the bookies bags on Australian Cup Day in March …. looking forward to it
Yep different kettle of fish to when we were driving . Not knocking the racing now but 10 times easier now than back then and would have thought less suspensions for drivers . Thats not to say the drivers are inferior . I rate Zac Butcher as the next P T Wolfenden he has enormous talent .
Hmmm Ben he needs to show more aggression with his drives . Whenever he leads you think yup will give the lead away and next thing 3 , 4 or 5 back on the fence . I think he gets himself in strife at times . Muscle Mountain yesterday why not push the button and lead Oscar would have given him the front . But we will alway be left guessing .
3 wide, no cover, pulling most of the way.
He ran well. Beaten by a horse with a better run on the day.
Happy with my bet. Might have to downgrade the Xmas pressies this year though 🤣
I think the way they are managing that track is primarily regular aeration and plenty of water, so get used to it being a shade slower. Seems to be working well.
Friday night at Addington had some great races, also had a good crowd, but it would have been a significant financial loss for the Industry.
10 races, six won by short priced favorites, including the two small field $100k races, 2 more won by second favorites, and $909k worth of stakes, not a good scenario for generating a positive GBR. Harness Racing is now so top heavy with the Stakes distribution, it is near impossible to run these meetings profitably.
FRANCO ELVIS - shifted in on straightening for the run home when driver B Hope activated the removable deafeners briefly placing an inside runner in restricted room. Mr Hope was issued a warning for his lack of control when activating gear.
not often you see a walk where many behind run faster sectionals as in the last., george described a good ride by elliot but most would chastise those beaten......joke....where is the competition in our jockey ranks?piss poor
not sure why Mcnab didnt hold his position and let levakia rail to get the run behind checkmate....im sure Kennedy wouldnt of giventhat run away which makes bourbon alot closer....just saying🙄
Hadnt rained for a week .......just how much was thrown on given the pedestrian times produced all day....what a bloody joke..... sell this shithole and throw the money into Helensville
