Simply incompetence, as no way maidens and C1 as of 1 August 2013 should eligible. Having said that, to clarify, last year the “lead in terms” were 6 months (approximately) so I say again, why should they be 18 months this time around? But guess what, any business with “all new staff”will have cock-ups so why should the Cambridge crew be any different? Liz

It's not only in the hard copy programme book, it was in the online RPG as well. I know someone who bought a horse specifically to target that race. Now, $1000s of dollars later, it is ineligible. FFS. -

So the Conditions for the Race came out 3 months ago You tailor your entire horses preparation round competing in that Race ...........and today they change the Conditions.......now ineligible so whilst my blood is boiling and expletives are flying round the house ........I will retain my composure ........keep smiling and tell our wonderful administrators what a great job they are doing -

I fear not. We may go down south to visit the brother in law and his family on the west coast. Unfortunately won’t get to Omoto I fear, Today’s card at Ellerslie looks a typical midweek meeting for the needy and the greedy. My suggestions for those which like a good Aussie wine need laying down and avoiding are: 3.40: SHEZ SHAMUS 4.15: FIRST DANCE 6.12: WIND RUSH 6.58: MYAKKABELLE Nothing terribly original. I’m sure the Te Akau horses will be of interest but it’s always tricky to look at maidens without seeing them in the paddock. I should follow the money and WILLYDOIT looks well backed in the fifth but it doesn’t always work. -
Horse racing will be next on the banned agenda along with cutting down Christmas trees, building new roads and whatever else those useless politicians can think up. Better get a quick bit of fishing in before they turn their attention to knocking that on the head as well.
