And since I posted this there were/are five meetings in 10 days... Whanganui - 69 horses... third biggest field of nine. New Plymouth - 40 horses ...field sizes 5,8,5,4,8,10 Tauherenikau - 7 races ... field sizes 6,7,7,11,10,8,5 At what point do the TAB step in and start reallocating meetings elsewhere in the country?

Marsh said that's where she will go provided she gets through the race fine. Personally I think they are rushing is too much especially with a 2 year old, if she get's into the KM that 3 races inside 4 weeks, that's a very heavy schedule for a 2 year old.

Word was out for TOTG ...regarded as a KM chance and will likely race again soon to earn enough to make the field .. there is a #45k 2YO race at HQ on 12 Jan ...?

17 entries in total which is pretty good considering the effort involved - thank you all for entering. The table below shows the most popular picks in each event, and the number of entrants who picked them. Leeds (Championship) the only universal selection. Oklahoma (NBA conference), Liverpool (EPL) and Pogacar (TdF) the next most popular picks. A number of tennis players and golfers picked by all but spread across different events. Actually I was top of the class in mathematics and won an award once. My mother still has the certificate to prove it. Anyway I don't mind being proven wrong and enjoy learning new ways of thinking so if you could explain how 19 cents in the dollar off a dividend differs from 19% off, that would be great.

You're right. I've been on course at Te Aroha twice in the past 12 months and the two cameras filming the straight and most of the bends are placed in the main. On the walkway between the low part of the stand and the steeper higher part. Never seen it at any other course. -
A rocket that'll launch them just high enough to get to the top of the stand like previously 🤣

No. Where did I say that? Improving that is much more likely to be helpful than placing a levy on exports imo though I'm not sure I'm clear about what you are suggesting one has to do with the other.. -

So you think running around for the shyte we do now in the lower grades makes people want to jump in to the industry...you must be kidding. -
\For some reason, Trackside won't carry the cameras upstairs anymore and use the position on top of the stand. we now have to put up with the shot from the lowest level of the grandstand in the public area. Hawera , the same story. Someone needs to put a rocket up them for it.

Yes. And you would be essentially be placing a levy on the costs of breeding or buying and developing the horse, not just on the profit. It might well cause the owners, trainers and traders in that business to say that instead of selling 6 horses a year, we now need to sell 10, thus having the opposite effect to that intended. The suggestion doesn't make an iota of sense to me from a business standpoint or for the good of NZ racing. -
I haven't submitted my entry yet. That was probably the only winner I'd have got 🤣
