I have been talking to the TAB, and they admit the AI is indifferent, but things will improve. But the last 3 months have seen absolutely no improvement.
Others say go to this site or check this and that. I am not inspired to jump all over the place. Like you why can't they have human form involvement up front. Bloody ENTAIN.

Sabotage/Animal activists?
First thing that popped into my head with this fire and the recent track damage at the Gold coast track.
Let's hope they aren't stooping this low🙄
The judgement for the Employment Court case was delivered on the 27th September 2024 ( subsequent to balance date ), so we do not know if at the time the annual report was finalized, they accepted that they would lose on all of their challenges to the original Court decision, and have allowed fully for the liability.
" Mr Payne is owed arrears for the failure to pass on increased agency fee from the 14 April 2016 to 21 August 2021"
The agency fee increased from a variable 2.5% rate, to 4% flat rate across all TAB revenue streams, no doubt this will be a considerable sum over 5 years and 4 months.
The costs should have been agreed on by the end of October, early November.
ATC will of course have to pay all of the lawyers fee's for themselves and Mr Payne, for the original Employment case, and also the failed challenge.
Agree. Over the years its been abysmally easy for a pacing filly or mare to get black type with frequent mobile f&m sprint races, especially maidens. In contrast, trotters usually have endless stand starts and unless a top juvenile, the easiest way for a trotter to get black type is to earn $100K.
This is becoming the default unfortunately as AI infests various industries. It's a lazy option where form analysts once might have done this stuff, companies are using AI for all sorts of stuff and making a nightmare for customers. Think guinea pigs and misinformation (not intentional in the racing sphere but still throwing up lots of errors). I wrote to AI a year ago pointing out that they had big problems with their form lines not matching their comments. They were out by one start. It went on for months. They said they had technical difficulties and admitted that they were using AI for their form comments. Add that to the fact that since Entain came on board there is very little value anymore (especially around fixed odds where you can have 75% of a field being offered at $10 or less). I like to have a small bet occasionally, but I'm thinking it might be time to give it away to be honest.
