The jockeys were asked by the club to do a job so I would think it only appropriate for the club to make the official comment.
I'm sure if you ran a business you wouldn't want all of your staff commenting to the media all the time.
Just remember one thing. The powers that be wanted to close down Kumara once and if it wasn’t for Robert Muldoon it too would have been gone for all time, such as: Hokitika, Westport, Tapanui, Winton, Beaumont, Waimate, Blenheim, Nelson, Waikouaiti, Opaki, Levin, Marton, Stratford, Wairoa, Gisborne, Waipukurau, Te Teko, Paeroa, Dargaville, Thames etc.
Anyone else can keep adding to the list to show how the “powers that be” have destroyed the grassroots of NZ racing.
All positive but they then silence the jockeys? Why?
The six jockeys who rode on the track on Thursday were not permitted to make public comments about their gallops earlier in the day
I am sure much more than you have ever done...about anything...except stir shyte of course....🤣..Liz is one of the good members here....always happy to help out ...unlike yourself.
Totally agree , but most of this mismanagement has come since Race has come on board , they have allowed themselves to be pushed around and have not shown a lot fight in trying to retain certain significant dates , nor letting the facilities get into the condition they have .
Saying all that the WRC have brought it all on themselves .
It saddens me how far the whole place has fallen .
The problem is not the technology, it is the clowns who have run Trentham into the ground. My thoughts are with people like Liz who cared so much about Trentham and have had to witness the mis management
Yes agree, I have no idea why other callers tell us whose driving etc during a race. I'm pretty sure most people don't want to hear useless information.
One other observation today: George really seems to be struggling with the commentary at Kumara. Getting his timing wrong with the short straight and the race is over by the time he describes the finish. Maybe not as familiar with the colours down south too.
