The trouble is Racing is just too long a day for most people, it’s slow & boring.
Even I find myself when on course bored as, having to wait 35 mins between races is just too long in a modern world.
Getting that time down to 25 mins is crucial for racings survival, yeah we know it’s a huge task but it’s not impossible.
25 mins between races, which start at 3pm in the summer & done by 6pm.
Winter start at 12 & finish at 3pm.
Gallops Friday Sat & Sun only 2 meetings each day.
He probably figures he has done his bit over the years. Certainly more proactive than any others we have ever had. I not saying he has got everything right.
To be fair, there were comments on the Wellington Cup and I referenced KOMOCEAN missing the start,
LEICA LUCY did it well in the Desert Gold but CORNELLO got closer this time and she’s the one if they move up in trip. The front two were four lengths ahead of the others and are both decent fillies.
The Crjcket was fine for what it is, the TV commentary was the spoiler from a viewing angle.
Strangely today both Blenhiem and Pukekohe had on course presenters but I didn't see any interviews of trainers, drivers etc etc, i wasnt watching all day so i stanc to be corrected. so why not give them the day off for all the good they do.
Yes you are absolutely correct, I got mixed up with Thorndon Mile day. And yes Tina did very well.
A friend of mine said Andre Neill drove them all mad going on and on over the loudspeaker lols
I watched the main race today and what was Carter thinking with Evangelist . He stuffed up Who's Delight hanging back 10 lengths from the horse in front of him . Who's Delight next start will be on
I agree . i have seen other races when he had every chance and having a very short sprint its hard for him to get the right run . I thought he got his chance today to finish closer . Personally I think he is a bit overrated
Detroit Lions, picked by 12 of 17 to win the NFC, and picked by 3 of 17 to win the Superbowl were eliminated today in a major upset - by the Washington Commanders.
Jannik Sinner the most popular pick to win the Australian Open has looked good in the first three rounds but yet to play another seeded player.
Dealt With, Kloppite's pick for the Kiwi looked pretty good (but green) in winning his second race today.
Liverpool, picked by 14 to win the EPL, pulled 2 points further clear of the Arse today.
If they offer $18 I would.
I don't mind getting beat - just like getting odds at value - here's another for you hehe
Down to $22 now - there are going to be 15 meetings this year at Manawatu
