In retrospect it was an easy First 4 (not that l actually took one). The two champions 1st and 2nd. The best two barrier draws 3rd and 4th. -

The Bash Brothers have done it . another family Quinella 😆 And the kiwis just a metre from winning as well from their good trailing draws . Broke the track record by 1.2 seconds going a 1.52 odd mile rate. Hard to believe they can hold that speed over distance. Swayzee might win a 3rd NZ Cup on that run. ? 😉 Cam Hart is such an amazing driver . He did super well once again. Cool as Cucumber that boy. -
I guess I've come to expect the post-race crap that we get. The only thing treated worse than the gallops is harness racing 😤

I don't know if he has gate speed. If he has any tonight is the time to show it. The FFA was a strange one. As you say Republican Party showed no speed from #1, perhaps he was feeling the effects of the Cup run days earlier? Catch A Wave, a great horse on his day, got to lead easily. I think Republican Party has improved since then though. -

It may end up being a perfect draw PS if drivers are smart . RP should lead early and if he hands up and LTF is 3 back on the fence , the horse parked might ease back and let him out to be parked giving them the perfect sit behind LTF . Will be a great race and I reckon you are right with Swayzee he seems better these days
