Agree Liz Positive he will be in the mix somewhere as Stable Foreman or Training Racing Manager which will be an understudy role for the future. Hard to imagine Opie being lost out of the Te Akau system -

The turf race saw 8/1 shot SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS score his biggest success beating INTEGRATION, ridden by Frankie Dettori, who went three places better than last year. A miserable spell for Godolphin continued with NATIONS PRIDE trailing home ninth. 2023 Whitney and Breeders Cup Classic winner WHITE ABARRIO returned to form with a vengeance with a six and a half length romp in the Dirt race. He was a well beaten favourite in last year’s Saudi Cup but with the latter race moved a month later he could be heading back to Riyadh but we’ll see. -

FRANKEL’s full brother NOBLE MISSION was a very good horse ending with a rating of 123. 20 lbs behind his sibling but still well into Group 1 territory and he won the Champion Stakes at Ascot on his final race in 2014. He’s also been a decent stallion - the one you would know of his was SPANISH MISSION who was third in the 2021 Melbourne Cup behind a certain VERRY ELLEGGANT.
