    • An imbalance due to a disproportionate number of migrants from the same countries also comes into play. Those people are not educated the same as some about how the wider New Zealand economy works. They spend their time walking around aimlessly fixated to their Mobile phones - we suggested to Westfield recently to have an Internet/ Phone free day as we are fed up to the eyeballs of these "Zombies" who simply don't fit into life of New Zealand society. Well done David Richwhite and a few others who encouraged and have contributed to the consequences of his actions that impact on the lives of ordinary people of New Zealand who have been left to face the consequences due to his arrogance. Do remember Fay Richwhite also have been instrumental in pushing for a Cashless Society - Asset Card...

    • Well if you do you can stay .
    • All great points. I'm sure that explains why very few people attend Ellerslie other than on a couple of big days.
    • Telco merry go around - just like when Mobile Brick phones and Espionage camera phones are traded in and all that data stays in a system that who knows who is accessing as they went to South Africa/ Rwanda and Nigeria to be used as part of there Social Security Digital Wallets where they were trialed first aye? Next minute, people here are scammed. Well done Tony Blair institute to.   New Zealand has been screwed over by idiots in inferior places.
    • Stipes had no problem with the pace of the race. Jockey on the hot fav said he was unable to quicken.  Not sure what the stipes will say if there is a massive form reversal in the Derby. On that result hard to see him winning the Derby.
    • I used to work for Vodafone and we had endless complaints about the Vodafone TV box which I believe is the same new one Sky TV is upgrading customers to  I refused to upgrade and still have the old one . Sky really needs to get their shit together and with these current problems hopefully they will learn a good lesson from it
    • Why do they bother with using a Drone? Perhaps the use of Drones at places one used to be able to go freely without being filmed is what's also putting people off from attending such places - they are a grotesque intrusion of privacy and people don't want the insides of their hand bags filmed ( it's disgusting that nonsense has crept everywhere in society) and people get sick to death of cameras in their faces to only to be shown to who knows who who may be watching. Some of the perverted type filming  of women's breasts and close ups of legs etc we have seen is unacceptable - who can blame people for not attending?
    • It was a problem all day. Even George Simon alluded to it in the last when he said "once again they slam on the anchors" after Vegas Queen went around to lead and then slowed up considerably.
    • Times change. Less than 1k at the races and 27k plus at the beautiful game. 30 years ago, it would have been the reverse.
    • I'll be expecting to wake up 5' 6", blonde and stunning.
    • Willydoit derby ? Ocean Dream huge race at only 3rd start.
    • What countries are there "Technicians" and "Customer services Business Processors" (BPO) based in? Or are they New Zealand based?

    • Disappointingly the drone coverage showed there were buggar all people in the Public area--was there a bomb scare?

    • @Charlie E Atmospheric Conditions have been a bug bear with Radio Transmission for over 100 years and they tell us that the world has made advancement, alas we know Fibre Optic cables have caused Telecommunications to go backwards.   We were part of the Sky Digital Trial back in the late 1990's Y2K deregulation era and recall that line of "Atmospheric Conditions" spin back then to    Be mindful our networks go through a number of cables before it arrives and some countries they go through have poor infrastructure that is constantly a problem, perhaps a Weather Balloon has hit the cables or a big shark...   Haha we looked up "Atmospheric conditions" in Papers Past NZ archives...Milk also changes taste in "Atmospheric conditions".   Don't blame locals here because it's an ongoing world wide problem that is unlikely to ever change just like in Golden Olden days. It's those who "own" the wider Telegraph/ Telecommunications who are ultimately responsible and should be held to account for Misleading practices.   It's all about making money and to heck with the little folk who always pay for poor services.
    • The stipes have repeatedly warned jockeys about "slowing the pace and putting others in difficulty", then do nothing about it. Classic example last week in Kaimai Stakes at Matamata but not even a warning for Kennedy. On another note I wonder what punters, and the stripes, think about Innes's comment on Trackside that last two poor runs by Blue Sky At Night were down to them only being "fitness" runs, whatever that means, but certainly implies something less than kosher.
