I went into panic mode reading Heaps blog hoping he wouldn't mention Rachel Levine or Sam Brinton two of Joe Bidens finest picks.
I sometimes wonder if the left on here are not secret crossdressers.
Brinton and Levine would have been at prohibitive odds to get a start here with the Labour Party.

I tend to agree. That is the big thing that has surprised me. A lot of the initiatives are not designed to maximise turnover. I don't know whether Entain just don't understand the NZ scene or whether some things happen despite them.
Just who is running the show?
Straight No Chaser's brilliance, on display in winning the Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) last fall at Del Mar, shone similarly in the Saudi Arabia desert when he romped in the Riyadh Dirt Sprint (G2) at King Abdulaziz Racecourse on Saudi Cup day.View the full article

Looks like the win pool closed around 36 k so about 3 k total on your horse. Around 21 k in the place pool so around twice as much on it to win as there was to place. Someone must have had a last minute go. Don't forget to have a bet on it next start.
So True Mike .
I used to love listening to Reg Clapp in particular on the radio . You would remember his well know phrase when they crossed over to him " Hello New Zealand "
I like Chris B as a commentator .
The one that used to crack me up was Jimmy Jacques . I'm listening and thinking " Jimmy settle down before they carry you out of the box with a heart attack " lol . I have never known a commentator to get so excited but that was just him 😀
And when you think of the fact we have the internet now and tv and yet strangely some people sill moan, I think in many ways we were better people without many of those things, the young of today just don't know.
4BC or 2BC Was the racing station, once daylight saving ended in mid March heaps of stations popped up on the am band at night.
Radio has always fascinated me, still does yet strangely its the one thing that we don't have today, in NZ racing on the radio.
I used to do the same with the radio PS trying to pick up Radio Waikato from Auckland lol
I didn't put any money on Pete to win , but he is in with a big chance of taking it out I reckon .
I must say it's been enjoyable watching this competition and will probably record the last couple . Good luck , I hope you get a nice payout tonight
haha Pete with 3 winners tonight now.
He's on 129 points and Angus is on 139 points with 4 races to go.
Only 8pm here so will make it to the end . Must be late in NZ.
I remember as a kid in NZ used to stick a transistor radio on the window sill and pick up the commentary from Australia as it faded in and out.
