It has been moved a few times. They want to jam it in with all the other races on their "big" day. A relatively poor field was always going to happen. So many other alternatives for 3yos on the day. -
From yesterdays Stewards report going back a couple of weeks to Feb 19th Race 7 – WEST FITZROY APARTMENTS RATING 75 1400m Stewards opened an inquiry into the ride on LIL ZENA (T Comignaghi) in conjunction with comments made by the filly’s trainer (A Furlong) in a pre-race interview on Trackside TV. Both T Comignaghi and A Furlong were interviewed, with the matter being adjourned for further consideration of all available evidence Might put Anna talking to Trackside in future! -

Why they simply didn't shift the Derby is interesting. Harness racing often run the Derby same day as the Oaks which is also interesting. Something wrong, posted twice. -

Aside from the fact the horse seemed massively over priced as a maiden at the end January $256,000 or 40% of the total proceeds are allocated to administration costs? For half a horse? That is extraordinary. How long do the training vet agistments costs cover? -
Ashlee Strawbridge rode Anhedonia yesterday plus 3 others. Daughter of Michelle Strawbridge formerly Hopkins top jumps jockey. Ashlee is an apprentice to watch out for in the future. -

More likely to be Ardalio or Zormella as they're paying $41. With pathetic promise you are allowed to win $2000. How ridiculous that they come up with a 3.5 million dollar race, spend all this money and effort promoting it as New Zealand's biggest race and then limit a punter to a bet of $50. -

This might be a short thread because I may well have it wrong, but this seems to be yet another case of Entains computer system being less than stable / honest I'll be the 2nd person to admit (after my wife) that I'm not as sharp as I used to be so I'm hoping someone can confirm that and tell me where I went wrong, or ....... I took a multi tonight, and as there is no longer the 'potential win' display as they used to have in the 'old' system, I have a calculator to simulate the results. My workings for $5.18 stake per unit are: Yet the payout is: $119.80 ALL fields appeared to be free of scratchings (I checked for possible deductions), apart from, and I have seen other instances of this , a 'duplicated' runner (8) - maybe they are making a deduction for that?
