On the breeding side of it I've watched Raymond Connors bred horses for years now and he's a total PRINCESS MELLAY tragic 😀 with mares he breeds from I reckon 80-90% of them have her appearing in there pedigrees. nothing wrong with that i think its great im still old school
No doubts he's the best Stayer going around I've been waiting for a couple of years for Raymond Connors to start him over 3200m still getting over the Wellington Cup hahaha. But got it all back Saturday and more 😀
even though im a big fan of him, it's fair to say it was a field of NZ class stayers although the 2nd horse beat Taramansour last start who's favourite for the Adelaide Cup today. Yes next year Raymond for sure will just target Wellington and Auckland cups with him.
Better number of noms for Auckland this week and hopefully will improve over the next month or two. No races at Cambridge and possibly many "Auckland" horses are coming back after a spell following the Golden Gait and Cup meetings in December with no races at the Park in Jan.
