Why take readings if they don't reflect "how the track will perform"? A bit like does a bear shit in the woods. If they're not published how do you know they are done? Further after the issues with hardness the new technque of irrigating the hell out of the track and using mechanical intervention in the week leading up to race day the G4 is now permanently a S5. What was the change in penetromer readings? Why don't they use a Going Stick? No I don't love to criticise however why can't stakeholders demand better standards and better and more complete information? -
Geez that's another Blast from the past - Bob Holmes - Bill's younger brother - guess he got out of the quickly. There was another character around the same time. I can't remember his name as everyone only knew him as "Ace" - use to work for Ces Donald previously. Anyone remember him
