Exactly. They are betting 109% on World Cup soccer qualifiers. I don’t think people realise the damage it will cause if these guys get their way. They are simply pathetic. Cameron Rodgers seems to think it’s fine because they are paying money to the local sports clubs… punters couldn’t care less buddy. -

Thanks for the message, and no worries, life comes first and if you can fit the comp in then that is well and good. You haven't been eliminated from the comp just yet. Your path to the final is harder now but you should still throw some picks in this coming Saturday if you can. -
They should bring back the rule they had back in the day . If a horse causes another horse to break , they are disqualified regardless if at the start or anytime through a race

Hunter Myers (27) with 2450 wins got thrown from the sulky at The Meadows in a race when the leader (a Pacer) broke stride and caused a chain reaction, he was apparently at the rear of the filed and got thrown from the bike and suffered fatal head injuries. I don't have the video because while it's available I did not want to watch it. His wife posted the video of being wheeled to the OR to harvest his organs. I have had quite a few trotters over the years, and if that had been mine having it's first run as a 2YO, I would have been very happy with the result, went a bit wayward at one stage but stayed trotting and showed good speed to finish, the finishing results don't appear to match the video. 2YO trotters have to be very natural in their gait, and the less "gear" the better, the next test will come with more horses in the race, and whether she can cope with that. -

Considering the margin. Mo'unga racing through on the inside certainly caught the commentator out. He was just about to say DSD was streaking clear and, here comes Mo'unga!! Super impressive by both runners.

When I was in Pukekohe working for Wally Francis he had the equine pool there . Quite often trainers like Harvey Wadham would swim their horses there including Wally's of course . It keeps them off the hard tracks and I reckon gets them fit too . I know it does for us humans

Many 2 year old trotters are extremely fractious, even when trainers feel/hope they are ready to actually go to the races. That's entirely from a watchers point of view, no direct knowledge or experience.
