The DUCHESS has been driven as if this is the only race that matters, with two awful runs/drives to date this time in; the only time in her career she hasn't finished 1st or 2nd. I see she's paying $5.50 now Top 3, but should LEAP TO FAME and DON HUGO both perform to expectations that really only leaves one spot the rest of the field to fight over. She'd have to be best Kiwi to snatch that third place. The draw will help, but......

I guess it's the slot holder's prerogative, and it must be difficult to drop your own horse and try and negotiate a deal with somebody else. But yeah....... MO'UNGA is paying 20-1 looking in from the outside waiting on a scratching, while OHOKA CONNOR, safely in the field, is at 100-1. That says it all really.

Isn't that a stupid decision putting in Ohoka Connor instead of Mo'unga . It would have no chance on its last run

Who would have thought at start of season is now $1.75 to take out Premiership (trainers). A long long way to go but if anyone deserves to take the title Mickey Mouse does. And he's not just winning around the Manawatu. Bet on Red. Unfortunately no more $17/1 odds available. 8888 has been very quite re the beach trainer successfully taking out this year's title BUT A LONG WAY TO GO so anything can happen in this game. GO MICKEY!!

I backed her First3, at $3.90 which is a bit short. Im not confident cos her form poor but the #1 draw gives her a huge advantage. She should be in the trail or three back fence. If they go a record time she won't be in the finish but if it's a more tactical race she's a place chance. It will be a great race. Leap to fame is my pick just because I think he's the best pacer in Australasia, a very tough horse. Champion. I would also be happy if my favourites Don't Stop Dreaming or Chase A Dream won, love those horses. -
How did you work out CNN was bias I bet a child from the kindergarten convinced you after you argued with the child that they are not.

I think DUTCHESS MEXIT gets barrier 1, like QUEEN ELIDA in the trot? I know there used to be some age/sex demographic into how the field was set, but most horses are in the main draw. It's a shame MO'UNGA isn't in the Stonewall Stud slot instead of the disappointing OHOKA CONNOR. At least CHASE A DREAM is back in form at the right time. And DON'T STOP DREAMING.

Very impressive once the message got through. I'm very impressed with the personal approach. CATCH A WAVE had a slot, but withdrew, like TACT MCLEOD. That opened up two slots for other runners. SWAYZEE was just a dream but we've still got the first two home in the Miracle Mile in DON HUGO and LEAP TO FAME plus all of the best locals and most in pretty good form. Not sure it's DH or LTF form, but we'll find out. If DON HUGO draws to get an easy lead he could win, but that'll depend on where LEAP TO FAME settles. It's not as easy to pass down the Cambridge straight as it is Menangle, and LTF couldn't pass DON HUGO there, soooo.......NZ has 8 runners up against two from across the ditch, but their two are extra good. The trot sees the very impressive THE LOCOMOTIVE take on our OSCAR. Several other chances too, depending on the draw. I'M READY JET is certainly ready, MUSCLE MOUNTAIN could still muscle his way through with a good trail, and BET N WIN could be worth a bet AND win. I think THE LOCOMOTIVE will railroad them all. Advantage Aussie here with horse numbers in their favour 5-3. It'll be a big night out for me. Travelling out of Auckland for some event happens extremely rarely these days, as even a night out for a concert or something in Auckland is tiring enough, but a chance to see LTF in the flesh was just too good to turn down.

Without a doubt it's the best a fairest Summer track in the country. Everything generally gets a chance if they are good enough. In fact the best horse nearly always wins. A good example yesterday was Zackery in the first, where he had to be checked off heels, then get rebalanced, still find a gap and finish over the top of them. I doubt that he could have won in the same circumstances anywhere else except for possible Riccarton. P.S. I was an absolute credit to the track team to still have the rail in the true position and have it play just as fair as out wide.

Sorry Charlie mate no Mo'unga in there 😟 unless there's contingency plan for any withdrawals (EM1) that may happen....at this point, tiz onwards an upwards to the draws (reveal) night.... Cheers Iraklis PS. great stuff Cambridge Raceway 👏👏👏 woohoo!!!

The owner suggested Jenni had pulled a hamstring at the 1300 mark, but now has decided it was a shoe issue. He is going to leave the final decision on Syd with the trainer.

Well done but others Canterbury Man, Pogo, Zelda who really is Doug here as well as Chief, Trojan Noodlum, Curious/Leggy and a few others elsewhere will no doubt want to can it because they have their own agendas and can not possibly give credit where it is due. I for one hope that Awapuni when they race in a few weeks goes well, it is badly needed but Trentham has done a great job for all the extra work it has had in the last 6 months. I saw an article somewhere about Foxton, it would be good to see them get a few dates, with a sprinkler system and a pop up tent city for Raceday it could be a good option too...not sure it will happen but here's hoping. Anyway lets wait for CM and his merry mob to start rubbishing Trentham again -

He has many, do you want me to name them???? He even starts threads elsewhere and then answers himself....😂 -
He finished in position number tres. George did well in the commentary I thought, not easy to pronounce at speed.

I just hope Mo'unga is in the field and draws 1 . If he does I will be having a go because should be good place odds 😀

Excellent customer service, well done Cambridge. Enjoy your evening mate, the pacer field is the best you could get other than Swayzee and Catch A Wave, the best in Australasia in there. She'll be a cracker, I think it could. be new mile record if it's a dry night. -
I guess with fields of 5 or 6 it's not stressing out the tracks too much.
