Track conditions are always wrong. They don't show "easy" track form, just good, soft and heavy. I thought everything else was okay? I didn't study closely however..... -

I notice no one has commented on the totally ballsed up form guide for today's Rosehill meeting. No horse has ever raced fresh up, no horse has ever raced on a soft track. The wins on various track conditions don't add up to a horse's total wins. There is space allocated to record all their jumps wins though. I don't normally comment on the TAB, but bloody hell, it is incredibly amateurish. I won't even mention the expert form comments. -

Pictured as a yearling . La Dorada | Karaka 2024 - Book 1 | New Zealand Bloodstock | Thoroughbred Auction House Ted and his wonderful wife Linda share in the ownership of La Dorada. She was 1 of 15 fillies in Book One, 2024, by Super Seth. Well Ted certainly opted for the right one with the assistance of DC and his team !! Good on him and he is such a good contributor on this forum. Rumour has it that DC has got him and Linda involved in a lovely Wootten Bassett filly for next years event ??!! She probably cost more than Ted's first dairy farm. Rev -
Decided to have a crack at the rescheduled meetings from Saturday. A couple of heart attacks with the first couple of legs but managed to get back my kick plus a bit more from the weekend. Hope you guys all got home safely. My shout in Christchurch! 😎 -

Just one question Ted when you walked the Straight was it a Soft 5 or a Good 4 or a Good 3? -
The barrier "reveal" is at 7.30pm tonight on Trackside. It will have been done by then, but embargoed. So not done live per se, but the NZB Kiwi, which was done live, was something of a messy embarrassment.

So fair racing is all about the straight and what people can see. The nice green bit. Forget about the rock hard chute or the 1400m start where the outside horses start on bare hard ground. Actually let's sell everything other than the inside 4 metres of the track and just have a straight. -

God knows how many will miss out on a start at Ashburton. Probably at least 35. Meanwhile everyone who wants a start gets one at Pukekohe. There does seem to be an imbalance. The other question of course is why hold a meeting at a track that has a field capacity of 10 for most races when everyone knew there were going to be dozens of horses desperate for a start? Incompetence is the only word I can think of that sums it up really. -
Should go down gangbusters here , apparently dinosaurs is all that's left following NZ racing .
