    • How can that be fair Scooby??  My other question, knowing some of the unfortunate details of the case, are there police charges to come? Apologies if my question puts you in an awkward positon Scooby.
    • DEEP STATE ?? New York City Mayor Eric Adams, fresh off his corruption case being dismissed by a federal judge, appeared on a podcast and said he believes the 'deep state' is real. President Donald Trump and his closest allies have spent the last eight years talking about how to dismantle this so-called shadowy group of unelected bureaucrats hellbent on sabotaging Trump's policies.   Those who believe in the deep state 'conspiracy theory' generally posit that unelected officials embedded in agencies like the CIA and FBI are the ones really pulling the strings of the US government - not the president or Congress. Adams now counts himself as a believer, crediting FBI director Kash Patel's 2023 book on the subject as the thing that swayed him.    'Kash was in the [Department of Defense]. He was in the FBI. He prosecuted terrorists,
    • Bang on Scooby, I,m Told the RIU did not want to view video footage of this case so that they could not penalise the said young person on what they had seen.
    • Its like the Popplewell has short terms for everything nowadays..now its the KM for the Karaka Million and EV for El Vendor...and no doubt he will get some more in the aftermath....🤣
    • Thank you for that info. I was so pleased to see her win. I thought she won very well. Wonderful family. ❤️💙
    • I've been busy today and only got to see one NZ race, a Group 3 race at Wanganui where they went the slowest first half of a race I have ever seen and then sprinted home. Group 3 seriously?? Then it got worse, I happened to catch the prelude to a race at Ellerslie, and the two presenters kept going on about HQ, Head Quarters!  Is this some official thing? Is Ellerslie considered the HQ of NZ racing? Is it because they are in the biggest city? Are the Blues NZs top rugby team because they are in Auckland? Is the Auckland cricket team NZ's top cricket team? I couldn't bring myself to watch the race after that. Did they have a big crowd at HQ today?
    • So the other young person who beat the crap out of one last year gets only 3 months, seems its rules for some and rules for those connected.
    • Verry Ellegant's 3/4 sister, Belle Detelle, won the G3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m) at just her 5th start. Form line now 5 starts: 2 wins / 2 seconds /1 third. Maybe Nick Bishara and his friends have another good one. The filly is out VE's half sister, Black Lace by Towkay.
    • The last ATC meeting, on the 21st March, has been the highest Staked meeting this year with Stakes of $587k spread over 10 races, T/O $835k, the GBR was $64k, the Funding figure is not posted yet but will be about $26k, that is a huge LOSS, with the GBR/Stakes being only 10.9%. The 3 major races were won by South Island horses; $150,000 3YO Fillies- first 3 SI $200,000 3YO C&G -  first & third $60,000  FFA           - first & second Even the $25k 2YO C&G heat had S I first and second, the 2YO fillies heat was a waste of space with only 4 starters. Auckland does not attract T/O, why does HRNZ continue to fund Listed & Group races there, when they would have a better chance of profitability, or more likely a smaller loss, in the South?

    • Ken Ring - Long Range Forecaster  · Follow penosStrdo18p74iml 8:lugh0 1lg938  t1gc9ti9i07ma611AratP8l3M  ·     Moon over Puerto Rico next earthquake? Here again is our list for the year 2025: Jan 7: Nepal, India Feb 2: Cook Islands Mar 1: Columbia, Hargeysa Mar 30: Vietnam, Bahamas, Gulf of Mexico Apr 27: Puerto Rico, Surabaya May 26: Manila, Brazil June 23: India, Paraquay July 20: Gulf of Mexico, India August 14: Papua New Guinea, Guyana September 10: Guatemala, Tanzania October 8: Vanuatu, Mauritania November 5: Africa, S Pacific December 4: Hawaii, N Africa We were successful for the recent earthquake, saying Vietnam for the larger area. Myanmar was not as widely heard of but technically is a short distance away. the outer borders of both areas are about Auckland to Wellington apart. That makes our record 100% thus far this year, and should be a glaring lesson in earthquake prediction, that being around the perigees. I take no glory from the prediction, but view the event as extremely tragic and to a certain extent, like Christchurch in 2011, lives could have saved if the correct information was freely available and the people alerted. The next date to watch is 27 April at 4pm (UTC) in or near Puerto Rico. What can be done? For a couple of days around that date people need to erect outdoor shelters and avoid entering tall apartment blocks. Doubtful foundations could be strengthened and warning bells of early tremors erected in all relevant cities. Of course it may not happen, but all the effort will not have been for nothing. Yet for proof of the moon's involvement just look at the mounting record so far this year. But first you need a brain-shift in favour of the moon. I have provided it on this thread and am willing to engage in any debate that casts negative judgement. Be watching world news around 27 April for, unfortunately, the next tragedy, and cancel any plans to go there..
