Sir, the fastest time of any 1200m in the country that I can guarantee. However the exact time my crystal ball won’t tell me, as it doesn’t know everything. Wink wink 😉

I wouldn't be surprised if the sharemarket has been manipulated in last few days by criminals for criminals.

I have never heard anyone query why TAB/Betcha (Entain) don't payout the correct amount on same game multis. (They under pay significantly on same race multis too (horses) but I will outline this in a later post, 200%+ markets should be illegal). Dolphins vs Panthers tonight. The margin is +/-8.5pts and the total is +/-48.5pts each paying $1.90 (105.2%) Take a very simple same game multi with these 2 options. If you selected both options correctly you would think it would pay $1.90 x $1.90 = $3.61. There are 4 combinations available. If you bet $10 on each you would expect your return would be $36.10 from $40.00 bet (110.8% market, 1.052 x 1.052 = 1.108). Due to conditional probability factors each combination should not necessarily be $3.61. Some could be higher, some could be lower, but they should average $3.61. Bet365 have the same markets with slightly more favourable odds of $1.91 (104.8%). The odds for all 4 combinations can be seen below; TAB Bet365 $3.54 vs $3.65 $2.96 vs $3.49 $3.07 vs $3.81 $3.73 vs $3.65 Averaged $3.32 vs $3.65 121.4% vs 109.7% You are over 12% worse off with TAB. So the million dollar question is why is TAB/Betcha paying $3.32 instead of $3.61. How can, what should be, a 110.8% market become a 121.4% market? What is the reasoning for creaming off an extra 10.6%? I will show the racing version of this in a later post. -
Not many Manawatu meetings left this year so no guarantees regarding House, long way to go.

That Montydrum fellow tells me that with his “real money” he only bets in Sydney and Melbourne, so with so many of the races at Randwick this week, I expect him to feature prominently. A “dark horse” with a chance I guess, hence the reason Black Kirrama thinks that he’s a first four chance. If the horses that he has a share in, Zackery or Kawatiri also run in the first four at Trentham on Saturday, he will be unbearable or should I say unbeatable? Go Montydrum and your team of fine steeds

Great preview Rev - thanks! Some contrasting paths to the final. Blaird the only finalist to come from outside the top 24. Had to survive sudden death for three play-off weeks running - having to finish in the top 4 in all three of those repechage type weeks. Has he run his grand final already?? Contrast that with Gubellini, Pegasus and Pheroz who finished in the top 8, had a bye in week 1 of the play-offs and qualified directly for the final in week 2. Short of a run perhaps?? -
It's been a lovely 18 degree day here, but no wind so to speak of. Tomorrow is much the same but they are cool autumnal nights, so certainly not the drying of summer. I am picking a Soft 6 for tomorrow followed by a Soft 5 being declared on race morning. But I am not expecting an upgrade once racing starts because of the moisture still in the ground and the coolish nights. Having said that I really expect it to be an almost perfect track ,that will suit every runner bar the mudders. I guess that we now wait and see.

very true Charlie it means more than money or fame ,albeit a maiden at Manawatu or a Cup elsewhere there is a rush that lasts and lasts especially if it has taken a longish time to happen. Sometimes it gets near to the end of the road and then the racing gods smile upon you and wow what seemed beyond reality happens. In 1970 I was on cloud 9 and just as special last tuesday at 6.30pm in the gloom waiting for the judges call I was that 23 year old again hugging and congratulating everyone .and trying not to get too carried away. !! -
I wish I owned a horse like Donald J Trump he just keeps winning he is the best America has had. The House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday to limit federal district judges' ability to affect Trump administration policies on a national scale. The No Rogue Rulings Act, led by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., passed the House and limits district courts' power to issue U.S.-wide injunctions, instead forcing them to focus their scope on the parties directly affected in most cases. All but one Republican lawmaker voted for the bill, which passed 219 to 213. No Democrats voted in favor. The Trump administration has faced more than 15 nationwide injunctions since the Republican commander-in-chief took office, targeting a wide range of President Donald Trump's policies, from birthright citizenship reform to anti-diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts. Issa himself was confident the bill would pass, telling Fox News Digital on Tuesday morning, "We've got the votes." This is the last time I'm giving you morons this number 0800 543 354 ask them to help your TDS I know the answer it is watch Fox and you will be cured in no time.
