After the unexpected storm last night I'm surprised if anybody is there that doesn't have to be there. It's not raining at the moment, but I'm sure it will return as the afternoon progresses. 750 lighting strike, rolling thunder for hours, pouring rain, aand the authorities only issued a warning an hour into it? How could they have missed it? -

Unfortunately looking at the coverage coming through there is nobody there. Carpark is empty, stands are empty. The track looks amazing too given the use over the last few weeks. Very sad state of affairs even allowing for the horrible weather. -

Absolute cruelty to keep putting people through that fantastic race every Easter , what a field , oh to have even a handful of those horses running today , most of that field would be close to odds on in todays race . -

Veyron's 2nd win was my favourite. It is one of two that I can remember backing that won. White Noise was the other one. -

I have to say without any nepotism , ok a little , what a ridiculous price . I don't usually back my horses , I'm up for enough if they win . But then he's always been overs in many of his wins . I know Tardelli is a nice promising horse but geez I'd wanting WN's price , big ask for a 3yo . Nice field and should be a great race . All I can tell you is Vinnie rode the horse on Tuesday morning and was over the moon with him . Been a long prep , nearly 12 months in work so would be a nice way to finish off .

Good luck. I secured the 19s and im in for the ride. Crazy overs considering the efforts last start. My favourite horse Pakaraka Star won the Easter 30 years ago. At the time Vinnie was becoming a regular rider on PS but unfortunately wasnt on board that day. Hope he can get it done for you today.
