Update: I have been advised that George wasn't on the Board of Te Rapa at all. However, he has been on the Committee at Te Aroha during their recent and extensive track troubles, so I have been advised! P.S. What's that saying about people in glasshouses, shouldn't be throwing stones?

Bloody awful weekend for the NZ horses wasn’t it ? Crocetti runs last in Perth after not getting the best of runs. El Vencedor went out way too quickly and weakened to last in the QE2 at ShaTin. The Oz horses Mr Brightside and Royal Patronage fared no better in the Champions Mile finishing last and second last respectively. Ka Ying Rising ( Kiwi bred ) was outstanding in the Chairmans Sprint making it 12 wins in a row. The Everest in October looks his for the taking. $2.10 on FO looks money for jam. -

The last race winner at Addington on Friday night is a full brother to Marketplace. Cullen Who was a Kevin Court owned mare. I think Kevin sold the mare when Forbury closed. -

Fcuk! I blame Nomates for making me read that. What a load of rubbish. Ballesy going to lead NZTR into the future! What the hell did Sharrock do? Has his work all been scrapped? I would have loved to have seen a headline that said "Ballsey says lets get back to basics to reset NZ Racing." I would give him two years at best.
