Still waiting to be given the result of the last at Pukekohe on Trackside..Went directly to Wanganui ,then Kembla ,Still no result yet..Crossed back to the track with BP and Leaf ,but nah ,no result given.
To most peoples eye it looked like Sihnaman ,with Aladdin Sane lunging ..but no photo ,no voice over ,no result ..Guess we will have to read it in the Sunday News tomorrow ..oh wait.
The racing certainly lived up to the quality and quantity.
I was thrilled to see that they could come from anywhere.
Generally the best horse won from what I could see.
Joan said that she was pleased to beat me BUT then went on to congratulate me for improving my result 8 fold (also referred to by SNM) as compared to my start last time.
Now the "proper" picking begins 😂
Bring on next Saturday.
Thank you John for such quick scoring.
Points earned after Round 1
Three rounds still to come so plenty of chances to improve your standings. Hope to see you all again next week. Next week we will be using the tried and tested format used in the Pairs and Triples comps - 12 races, pick two runners (or one if you want to double your bet), etc....
Yes Samsung Freeview App.
TV browser better, but streaming quality very poor. Looks very low resolution. TAB help desk said there was meant to be a fix after NZ Cup week, but I have a feeling it was not implemented.
I have chased TAB, can’t believe they can’t get this right. Buffering was acceptable a decade ago, but not in 2024 using a fibre connection.
Also not like Samsung TV’s are not uncommon, if it is a specific brand issue

Two of the top 5 going into that race fall at the final hurdle (Al F and Pak Star).
Lucasduke who was in and around the lead all day, lost a life in the last but held on to take Round 1 honours from Kloppite who just edged out Jack for second spot.
16 of 39 made it to the finish line and two entrants didn't lose a life - Insider's cautious (Tarantula like) approach earned them a few more points than in the same round last time.
Wrong as usual. Track is a Good 4.
You're entitled to your opinion but I think you'll eat your words later.
Blake Shinn came over and rode him and was super impressed.
